We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide a functioning website, to deliver the services you buy, to respond to your enquiries, or where you have given consent. "Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We never sell personal data.
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus) on servers within the European Union. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, pages requested, referrer, browser type and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website securely and to detect and prevent abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Log files are deleted after a short retention period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
We use only technically necessary cookies and similar storage that are required for the website to work, for example to keep your cart and checkout session, to remember that you are logged in to your account, and to protect forms against misuse. These are set on the basis of Section 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies unless you consent to them. Details are listed in our Cookie Policy.
When you send us a message through the contact form or submit a custom solution request, we process the details you provide (name, email address, telephone number, company, website, project description, budget, timeline, attached files) in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal. Uploaded files are stored in a protected folder that is not publicly accessible. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries). We keep enquiries for as long as needed to process them and for up to three years afterwards, unless a contract follows, in which case the retention periods in section 7 apply.
If you submit a review, we process your name, role, company, rating, review text and email address. Your email address is used only to verify the review and contact you about it and is never published. Reviews are checked manually before publication and may be edited for length or removed. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us; we will then remove the review.
When you buy a service, we process the data required to conclude and perform the contract: name, company, billing address, email address, telephone number, the services ordered, payment status and any project brief you submit after purchase. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Payments are processed by our payment service provider; we never receive or store full card details. Payment data is transmitted directly to the provider, who processes it under its own privacy policy:
Invoices and accounting records are retained for the statutory periods under German commercial and tax law (currently 8 to 10 years, Section 257 HGB and Section 147 AO). If you create a customer account, your account data is stored until you delete the account or ask us to delete it, subject to those statutory retention periods.
We send transactional emails about your orders, requests and project briefs. We only send marketing emails if you have expressly subscribed, and every such email contains an unsubscribe link. [If you use an email service provider for newsletters, name it here together with the legal basis, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.]
The typefaces used on this website are stored on our own server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is made when you load a page.
We work with clients worldwide. Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. For service providers in the United States we additionally rely on their certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where available.
We share personal data only with processors who support us in operating the website and delivering services (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and, for specific projects, specialist contractors bound by confidentiality) and only to the extent necessary. We disclose data to authorities where legally required.
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15); rectification (Art. 16); erasure (Art. 17); restriction of processing (Art. 18); data portability (Art. 20); and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority responsible for us is [the data protection authority of the German federal state in which the company is based, e.g. Berliner Beauftragte fuer Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit].
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (TLS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The current version is always available on this page.
